Social Contribution Activities

Mitsue-Links made a financial contribution to assist Afghan children through the Joint NGO Fundraising Project for Aiding Afghan Education. The money raised by this project is used to repair educational facilities and provide teaching materials.

As part of our environmental protection activities, Mitsue-Links participated in the Green Power Fund. The Green Power Fund is for supporting the increased use of environmentally-friendly energy sources. Contributions collected by the GIAC* through TEPCO are allocated as grants for wind power and solar power generation plants.

Mitsue-Links made a financial contribution to assist to Afghan refugees through the Japan UNICEF Office.
* UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund) is providing emergency aid to Afghan refugees both inside and outside Afghanistan who have been impacted by prolonged war and drought in their country as well as the aftermath of the 9-11 attack in America.

Mitsue-Links wishes to extend its deepest condolences to the victims of the 9-11 attack and their families. We have made monetary donations to the victims and their families through eBANK. These contributions are collected through the US Embassy in Japan to help the victims and their families in these difficult times.

As part of our environmental protection activities, Mitsue-Links contributed to the WWF, an organization involved in all manner of activities for building a future in which the human race can live in harmony with nature.

Mitsue-Links officially acquired ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) certification. Our environmental management system, which we built and have been operating since April 2000 in an effect to conduct environmentally-friendly business, was recognized as fulfilling ISO 14001 requirements.

Mitsue-Links made a financial contribution through the Japanese Red Cross to the Indian earthquake relief effort. The Japanese Red Cross is dispatching medical teams to the site and undertaking other relief efforts such as air transports of much needed medical supplies.

This is an ongoing monetary contribution taken from our earnings. The Japanese Red Cross is engaged in humanitarian efforts along with National Red Cross/Red Crescent Societies.
