October 2, 2014 Donation to the Japanese Red Cross Society
Mitsue-Links made a donation to the Japanese Red Cross Society .
With branches located in all 47 Prefectures of Japan, the Japanese Red Cross Society participates in a broad range of activities including the operation of hospitals, blood donation centers, and social welfare facilities, as well as promoting the knowledge of first-aid, supporting the Junior Red Cross and offering volunteer work etc.
Commencing with the eruption of Mt. Ontake, we hope that our donation will be used to provide support for people suffering from various disasters.
July 11, 2014 Donation to Entrepreneurship Support Program for Refugee Empowerment
Mitsue-Links made a donation to the Entrepreneurship Support Program for Refugee Empowerment (ESPRE) .
ESPRE is a non-profit organization that provides entrepreneurship support for refugees in Japan. The program promotes the economic independence and self-sufficiency of refugees through the provision of entrepreneurship and management advice as well as offering access to business development funds.

Mitsue-Links made a donation to the United Nations World Food Program .
The UN WFP is the United Nations agency at the forefront of eradicating hunger. The United Nations WFP has saved many lives by working quickly to deliver food to those deemed most at risk of hunger. While responding to emergencies, the agency's medium to long-term goal is to create a world free from hunger.

Plan Japan is an international non-government organization that provides assistance to children in the developing nations of Asia, Africa and Latin America. Plan, with operations in 69 countries, is active in a diverse array of community development projects, including health and education, to ensure that all children can reach their full potential.

The Red Feather Community Chest mainly focusses on community level social welfare services, volunteer organization and training, child accident prevention training, health promotion in young people and fundraising activities.
May 10, 2013 Donation to UNHCR Syria Refugee Support Activities
Mitsue-Links made a donation to the United Nations UNHCR Syria Refugee Support Activities .
The UNHCR is a United Nations organization that provides support for refugees. The work of the UNHCR is mostly supported by governmental contributions, however there is increasing support from private enterprises and individuals. In October 2000, the UNHCR was established in Japan as a specified nonprofit corporation with the aim of garnering support for its programs.
The UNHCR has established a Syria Crisis urgent appeal as the escalating violence in the country has displaced thousands. The number of Syrian refugees in Lebanon numbers more than 400,000, and about 3,000 people are registered as new refugees every day. The majority of aid donated to the Syrian refugee assistance activities has been devoted to medical expenses.

Medecins Sans Frontieres is a non-profit international medical and humanitarian organization. The organization, active in over 70 countries and regions of the world, has around 36,000 committed individuals, including doctors and nurses, providing assistance to those in need (2011 data).

Mitsue-Links gave a donation to the WWF Japan (World Wide Fund for Nature Japan) .
The WWF, founded in 1961in Switzerland, is a global environmental conservation organization. The group, active in approximately 100 countries, promotes the living in harmony with nature and the fair sharing of the Earth's resources. Currently the WWF is focusing on the conservation of biodiversity in forests and the sea, promoting the sustainable use of natural resources, and working to prevent global warming.

Save the Children is an organization that was established in England in 1919. The organization seeks to protect children's rights and improve their lives through better education, health care, and economic opportunities, as well as providing emergency aid in natural disasters and conflicts. The work of the international NGO, through 29 regional organizations, presently assists more than 80 million children in more than 120 countries each year.

We made a donation to UNICEF through the Japan Committee for UNICEF .
Our donation is expected to be utilized for ensuring the survival and healthy growth of children in more than 150 countries and regions over the world through UNICEF's activities, in the areas of health, nutrition, water sanitation and hygiene, education, and child protection.
