20 October 2023, Donation to the Japanese Red Cross “Overseas Relief Fund”
We made a donation to the Japanese Red Cross Society’s "Overseas Relief Fund.” The donated monies will be used to aid victims of various disasters - including the recent wildfires in Hawaii, the earthquake in Morocco, floods in Libya, and earthquakes in Afghanistan - in addition to supporting the reconstruction of property and cities as well as enhancement of disaster prevention and mitigation activities.
21 July 2023, Donation to Smiling Hospital Japan, a Certified NPO
We made a donation to Smiling Hospital Japan, a registered non-profit organization . The organization dispatches performers to visit children battling intractable diseases and disabilities, and provides them with fun opportunities to experience various forms of entertainment – such as music, the visual arts, and magic. The organization aims to lift the spirits of children in hospital, and mitigate the anxieties and stresses caused by treatment and long-term activity restrictions. Furthermore, through improving the children’s quality of life they will maintain a desire to fight their illnesses and experience the joys of living.
28 April 2023, Donation to ChildLine Support Center Japan, a Non-profit Organization
We made a donation to the ChildLine Support Center . The non-profit organization, active across Japan, provides counselling services that support children under the age of 18 in dealing with various issues that are causing distress or concern. Through its activities, such as sharing trends in the nature of young people’s anxieties and working to improve social environments, the organization aims to realize a society in which children can live comfortable and fulfilling lives.
24 February 2023, Donation to the Japanese Red Cross Society’s “2023 Turkey / Syria Earthquake Relief Fund”
We made a donation, through the Japanese Red Cross Society, to the 2023 Turkey / Syria Earthquake Relief Fund (in Japanese). Centered near the Turkish-Syrian border, a powerful earthquake and its continuing aftershocks has led to the collapse of countless buildings and numerous casualties in the region. The donation will be used to support an emergency aid appeal launched by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, as well as relief work and reconstruction assistance provided through the Turkish Red Crescent Society, the Syrian Red Crescent Society, and the Japanese Red Cross Society. We offer heartfelt expressions of condolence to all who were affected by the disaster.
3 February 2023, Donation to NPO CLACK
We made a donation to CLACK (in Japanese), a Tokyo and Osaka-based non-profit organization whose vision is to realize "a society in which children can have hope and excitement regardless of their upbringing”. CLACK provides fee-free programming support and career-focused education for high school students from deprived backgrounds.
6 January 2023, Mitsue-Links Joins CoderDojo Japan as a Corporate Partner
Mitsue-Links to work with CoderDojo Japan (in Japanese) as a corporate partner. CoderDojo Japan is an organization that supports the non-profit activities of more than 215 CoderDojos, or community-based programming clubs for children, located throughout Japan. Commencing this month, we will be providing the financial assistance to support CoderDojos nationwide throughout 2023.

25 November 2022, Donation to UNICEF’s “Emergency Fund for Natural Disasters Fund”
We made a donation to UNICEF's Emergency Fund for Natural Disasters (in Japanese). The donated monies will be used to support the livelihoods of children who have suffered from recent environmental calamities such as the floods in Pakistan, where one-third of the country was submerged, and the earthquake in Afghanistan, where many children were affected.
19 August 2022, Donation to the Central Community Chest of Japan’s(Campaign to Support Welfare Activities in a Post-Covid Society)
We made a donation to the Central Community Chest of Japan’s (also known as Red Feather/Akai Hane) Campaign to Support Welfare Activities in a Post-Covid Society . The donation will be used to support those experiencing financial difficulties and hardship due to the prolonged nature of the Covid-19 pandemic, and to support activities that connect socially isolated, disadvantaged persons with their local community and wider society.
15 February 2022, Donation to Japanese Red Cross (Tonga-Oceania Volcanic Eruption and Tsunami Relief Fund)
We made a donation, through the Japanese Red Cross Society, to the Tonga-Oceania Volcanic Eruption and Tsunami Relief Fund (in Japanese). The donated monies will be used to support the relief and recovery efforts of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, the Tonga Red Cross Society, and other organizations in the aftermath of the eruption of the Hunga-Tonga-Hunga-Ha'apai underwater volcano and resulting tsunami. Monies will also be used for disaster preparedness and relief stockpiling in neighboring countries and other Pacific Island nations deemed to be at similar risk.

26 November 2021, Donation to UNICEF (Novel Coronavirus Emergency Fund)
We made a donation to the Japan Committee for UNICEF's Emergency Fund to support the organization’s work in response to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) (in Japanese). The donation monies will be used to support children in developing countries whose lives are at risk because healthcare systems, already vulnerable due to conflict etc. before the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, have further deteriorated; and to support activities to supply the new coronavirus vaccine through the COVAX Facility, a global partnership designed to achieve vaccine equity.
6 August 2021, Donation to the July 2021 Torrential Rains Disaster Relief Fund
We made a donation, through the Japanese Red Cross Society, to the July 2021 Torrential Rains Disaster Relief Fund (in Japanese). The fund was setup after torrential rains caused extensive damage in several areas, including Shizuoka Prefecture. The monies will be sent to the donation distribution committees established by the affected prefectures. We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to all those affected by the disaster.
11 May 2021, Donation to the National Federation of UNESCO Associations in Japan (World Terakoya Movement)
We made a donation to the National Federation of UNESCO Associations in Japan’s World Terakoya Movement . Donation monies will be used to provide venues and opportunities for learning and empowerment for those who have no access to education due to poverty, conflict or being female.
29 January 2021, Donation to the Japanese Red Cross Society (Red Cross Activity Fund)
We made a donation to the Japanese Red Cross Society . The donation monies will be used to support various life-saving activities - this includes measures to prevent the spread of infectious diseases, such as the novel-coronavirus; the strengthening of healthcare systems in preparation for natural disasters; the creating of public awareness with regard to disaster prevention and mitigation; and, the training of relief volunteers.
